The Virginia Speleological Survey (VSS) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that collects, maintains, and distributes information regarding the cave and karst resources in Virginia. We are an official internal organization (survey) of the National Speleological Society (NSS) and have been around under the current name since 1974.

The VSS would like to welcome all directors, coordinators, associates, and guests who are visiting our Web site. We hope you enjoy your visit - please let us know if you have suggestions or comments.
